Women in custody require access to healthcare services that address their unique medical and reproductive health needs. CHP provides coordinated obstetric and gynecological care designed to support appropriate screening, diagnosis, treatment, pregnancy care, and preventive health services throughout incarceration.

Women’s health needs may range from routine gynecological concerns to complex pregnancies requiring close coordination with outside specialists or hospital-based providers.

CHP’s clinical teams work to identify healthcare needs early and establish an appropriate plan of care based on each patient’s individual circumstances.

CHP works collaboratively with correctional leadership and outside healthcare providers to coordinate clinically appropriate services while maintaining continuity of care.
