As a proven leader, Dr. David Christensen has 28 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine. Prior to joining Correctional Healthcare Partners, Dr. Christensen has served as site medical director for Team Health, Envision, and medical director for Inland Urgent Care. He had led hospital and departmental healthcare quality and improvement efforts, and has served on medical executive and peer review committees. Most recently, Dr. Christensen has served as chief medical officer and site lead at Correctional Healthcare partners. Dr. Christensen received his medical degree from the Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine, and completed a residency in emergency medicine from Loma Linda University Medical Center. He has worked in a spectrum of facilities ranging from remote, critical access hospitals to large referral centers. Dr. Christensen is skilled at providing chronic care, acute care, critical care, and emergency resuscitations for all demographics of patients, including the elderly, men and women of all ages, adolescents, pediatrics, and neonates.
