It was my experience that the team CHP Health and the doctors under their employ were highly thought of, professional, and prompt in service delivery. They were attentive to patients in our custody and worked with department staff and patients to deliver the best possible care, while taking into account facility and personal security needs for all involved.

Ms. Heitz worked closely with our management team to ensure quality care was delivered to our entire incarcerated population. She attended weekly meetings with our multidisciplinary team, which included jail managers, correctional healthcare contract managers, and clinicians, and fostered collaborative and productive relationships within this team.

Director Heitz recognized the importance of hiring competent staff which valued the inmate rehabilitation goals (client) and equally support a positive relationship with safety staff. The doctors, clinicians, social workers, unit supervisors and other professionals she employed and managed were highly thought of, were prompt in service delivery and were attentive to patients in our custody.
